Intention matters. I always check my motives and question the motives of others. Asking the question why? Because sometimes people are not acting from a place of love, but out of fear or a place of ego and self-serving.
To truly come from a place of love is selfless and not self-serving. It is from a higher, more spiritual place which is more loving, kind and of God.
Also important is letting go of assumptions, expectations and judgements which results in better relationships, contentment and happiness. No two people are alike. I try not to paint people with a broad brush which can be unfair and even discriminatory. Give each person the opportunity to show their true colors on their own merit.
