My poetry book includes a few of the poems I wrote as a young girl although the majority were written as an adult. They offer a small glimpse into the private garden of my mind, heart and soul. We need more poets, authors and artists in the world to share their works, especially women and minorities including LGBTQ+ people who may not have had as many opportunities in the past.
Thanks to self-publishing and wider acceptance it has opened the door to writers such as myself to share our poetry and books with a broader audience. Writing poetry is a passion so this is not the end, just a beginning of the next phase.
